We all hear it. We all know something about it. I’m sure a majority of us have seen specials on television about Alien life, extraterrestrials, and unidentified flying objects in the sky.
Maybe we are the Cavemen of their time.
While I can’t say that I’ve ever seen anything (secretly wishing I had or will) I am tossed between believing in this or not believing. Let’s just say, I DO believe, yet, when I hear someone talk about an abduction, I think, he’s he really making all this up for attention? Is this person psychotic? Delusional? Which, then, triggers my skepticism. There is so much advanced videography out there and awesome CGI that it’s hard now-a-days to decipher a real video and a fake one.
So, do I believe or don’t believe?
I love alien movies. I think I’ve seen them all. Even the original War of the Worlds. The first Alien movie with Sigourney Weaver came out when I was 11 and here we are 44 years later and I still enjoy the movie to it’s fullest. I think I can recite it line for line, sound for sound.
For us to know about them, to have a visual representation of them, of their space crafts, they have to be real, wouldn’t you think? SETI websites, Government conspiracy’s and cover-ups, stories about abductions, sightings of UFO’s, it has to be real.
I had a Catholic mom who attempted to raise me with a faith. But as I got older, I had too many questions I couldn’t get answered. I began to question everything between my mom and my grandmother. I had my own thoughts and while I did the usual night time prayers with my mom before bed, it never did a thing for me. I was too thrown aback by the vast universe, the planets, the stars and how big and how far it went, did it end and where. And it hit me then that we can’t be alone in this infinitive universe, galaxy… sky. We can’t be the only creatures that walk on a planet. There’s got to be others. So there’s got to be more than just believing that someone “made” us. We are a biological entity. Built on evolution over a vast amount of time. I reckon Aliens are the same but far more advanced than us. Their evolution must far out weigh ours.
Perhaps maybe, we’ll become like the stereotypical alien we see on TV… they don’t appear to be identifiable with genders. No male/female. So perhaps in another billion years or so, if we don’t destroy the one home we all have here, we’ll evolve to be more like them.
Maybe we are the cavemen of their times.
