I was born and raised in New Hampshire. Graduated in 1984. In 2003 I moved to Arizona and fell in love with the state. I’m nicknamed Dee – Hence the site “route6dee6”. In 2006 I met the love of my life online and in 2008, moved to Australia. 2016 my mom was displaying signs of dementia and by 2017 was placed in a Health Facility. The year 2020 had proved the most difficult. We were no longer allowed to travel overseas due to Covid-19 and my mother’s Dementia has gotten much worse. In-spite of it all, my partner and I married on 10-10-2020.

This site is just a mix of thoughts, emotions, and how I’m dealing and/or struggling with my mother’s Dementia, or just these deep thoughts that I find I don’t always have words for. When I find the words, they will be displayed here.

This is now, probably, my 4th attempt at creating a blog of my own musings. I hope that you will find them inspirational, food for thought, or for just simple amusement. They may be hurtful to some, opinionated, sad, happy, perplexing… I don’t know. But expect the unexpected and comments will be reviewed. I will not tolerate hate, criticism or judgement. These are MY thoughts, simply shared. If you don’t like what you read, please move on.
