I am, by no means, religious. I don’t believe in a God of any type. I was suppose to have been raised as Catholic but it didn’t pan out very well. I went to CCD. I made my first communion (whatever that is) and that was it. I remember a particular CCD class where I asked a question but the teacher couldn’t really answer it. I had too many of them that didn’t make sense. I had even said to my mother when I was little, “Oh I think I get it, Adam and Eve are Heaven people and Cavemen are Earth people.” My mother just looked at me. I think she knew then, as well, that I wouldn’t be growing up religious.
On the other hand, I do believe in spirits, ghosts, phenomenon encounters, spiritual events. I believe some people… SOME, can communicate with spirits. Hell, I’ve even had my own sorta unexplained experience when I was in my 30’s, but I’ll leave that story for another post.
I have never studied anything in relation to spirits. I just think. I have watched numerous documentaries on reincarnation and strange phenomenons. I love watching Ghost Hunters, or any Ghost Hunting show where they try and debunk something. The debunking I see myself taking part in because I need to have a scientific answer before I believe it. After having the experience some 20 years ago I can understand why people would suddenly believe without debunking. To this day, whatever I watch, it has to be validated. With technology and photoshop and CGI, it’s hard to believe anything you see on tv or on YouYube anymore.
Reincarnation, now that’s something completely off the charts. I’m sorta leaning towards believing this. I’ve read some theories, I’ve watch some documentaries. Not movies, not YouTube videos, but documentaries with claimed experiences. Most of these happen with kids under the age of 6. As kid’s will tend to forget the earlier stages of their life when they reach this age. I mean, who can remember when they were 2 and 3 years old? I can barely remember being 4 or 5. 6 is a blur. So this age frame between 2 and 6 is when they can usually recall an earlier life or a past life but as they get older, they will forget.

Someone once said to me, if you’re afraid of heights, you fell off a cliff in your past life. If you’re afraid to fly, you died in a plane crash in your past life. If you’re poor, you were rich in your past life. For some reason that always stuck with me. But it’s not so much about people. I mean, if we do die, we have our so-called spirit or soul that leaves our body. To me, that’s the energy. That energy needs some place to go and may end up in the stages of another living thing. Be it another unborn human or unborn animal. Sounds far-fetched but the more I ponder this, the more I “watch”, the more I see videos of Predator/Prey being “friends” the more I wonder. Could these two creatures just have the soul/energy of a person? What drew these two enemies together?
A Dog’s Purpose. One movie that had me in tears from start to finish. The reincarnation of one dog to another over the years that finally returns to his original owner. Grab the tissues if you’re prone to sappy stuff.
What are you’re thoughts? If you believe in reincarnation let me know in the comments.
